Terms of Service

Service

SecureServe provides self-hosted file transfer, upload, sharing, access-control, and audit features. You are responsible for installing, configuring, securing, backing up, and operating your SecureServe server and for the content handled through it.

Early-access software

Version 0.1.1 is an early-access release and may contain defects, incomplete features, or security limitations. The macOS package is signed and notarized by Apple, while Linux archives can be checked against published SHA-256 values. These release checks do not replace an independent security review. Evaluate SecureServe in a controlled environment and do not rely on it as the only copy of important data.

Accounts and acceptable use

You must provide accurate account and billing information and protect administrator credentials. You may not use SecureServe to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, security controls, or to distribute malware, abusive content, or unauthorized personal data.

Plans and billing

SecureServe Standard is free. SecureServe Pro costs US$19.90 per month and renews automatically through Stripe until canceled. Taxes may be added where required. Pro features require an active subscription and a valid license tied to the installation.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel before the next renewal by using the Stripe billing portal when provided or by contacting support. Pro access continues through the paid billing period and then returns to Standard limits. Charges are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where SecureServe approves a refund request for an incorrect charge submitted within 14 days.

Customer content

You retain ownership of your content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to store, process, and share it. SecureServe does not monitor customer-hosted files and is not responsible for content placed on customer-operated servers.

Availability and warranties

The software and service are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Features may change, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. You should maintain independent backups and apply security updates.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SecureServe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for data loss caused by customer configuration, third-party services, unauthorized access, or failure to maintain backups.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new update date. Questions may be sent to lihulin2002@hotmail.com.
